Planning For the Future and Now
Historically speaking, the month of June has often represented the time period when most closed transactions occur throughout the year. The time when home sales finally settle and come together after months of busy activity in April & May, when data points like new pending sales and new listings are at their peak.
It's also a time of transition. School is out, Summer has begun, and you can (hopefully) take a breather and enjoy the weather. On the subject of real estate, it's also become a time when those who have ambitions of making their next move begin to consider their plans. This doesn't just include those have summer plans to relocate, but rather a wide spectrum.
Case in point, in the past 30 days alone, I've heard from either current, past, or future clients who are in need of guidance with their home plans, from a wide array of scenarios: a family relocating to the area with a quick deadline, a homeowner who is looking to sell in the Fall, and future buyers who have plans to make their move in Q1 in 2027 and would like to get a jump on the process and get themselves prepared. All with different needs, with a unique strategy applied. Some who need to get started this weekend, and others who are planning their next 6-12 months.
It's a reminder that our region is unique in that seasonal peaks don't always drive decisions. Careers shift, timing can change, and sometimes, life happens. If timing is flexible, it's never a bad idea to comfortably start looking into your next steps and have your representation help with your strategy while you can enjoy time with your family and friends. If you have questions or would like to have a conversation about your eventual plans, reach out anytime.
Putting all real estate topics aside, wishing everyone a wonderful summer season.
